Chris Brown was involved in an all-out brawl with Frank Ocean Sunday night, and sources connected with Chris insist Ocean started it. Chris was at Westlake Studio in the L.A. area listening to one of the artists he represents. The sources say as Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, "This is my studio, this is my parking spot." We're told Chris went to shake Frank's hand ... and that's when one of Frank's people attacked Chris. Sources connected with Chris say one of Chris' friends jumped in front and hit Frank's friend. Sources connected with Chris say Frank then came at Chris ... Chris pushed him away and they started brawling. The police were called and are on scene now.

Kid Cudi and Universal have not been on the best of terms lately, and Kid Cudi let it be known for sure tonight on Twitter. The Wizard went on a short rant blaming his label for not promoting "King Wizard" enough. Cudi already had problems with Universal after they failed to aptly promote his WZRD rock album. "King Wizard 3.4 million views on Vevo, Just What I Am has 4.3 million and my shit is not on regular rotation on radio. Hmmm. Another life has been taken by the barrel of a gun in Chicago, and the latest fatality is Chief Keef's step brother Ulysses "Chris" Gissendanner III. According to DNAinfo.comChicago, Chris, who also went by the moniker "YPN Boomtown," was gunned down last Wednesday, January 2nd, in South Chicago. He too was a young aspiring rapper who was related to Keef through marriage. Keef's father, Alfonso Cozart, married Chris' mother Aridecy Tate but eventually divorced in 2012. Chris was shot while sitting in a car near 124th and Union after visiting his uncle in West Pullman. He was rushed to Roseland Hospital but sadly died shortly after arriving in the vicinity. According to Chief Keef's grandmother and lawyer, Grissendanner was not recognized as being part of their family, nor was Keef's father Alfonso recognized as part of the family either. Tim Petrillo, the real trademark owner of the phrase "YOLO," decided to put Drake in his place for telling retailers to stop using the phrase, because he made it popular in his song "The Motto." Petrillo says he trademarked the phrase back in 2010, way before Drake released his song. Petrillo named his Fort Lauderdale restaurant YOLO, and when the blog Clean Plate Charlie asked him about Drake's lawsuit threats, he responded by saying "I think Drake saying that is such a joke." The New York Post also called Drake out on his threats, revealing that the phrase has been used throughout history since the 1700's.

Teen idol Justin Bieber was photographed smoking what appears to be a marijuana blunt inside a Newport Beach hotel on January 2nd, just one day after a photog was killed chasing his Ferrari. Bieber didn't seem too downcast judging by the photos, which show the 18-year-old toking it up and laughing with his buddies. TMZ exclusively obtained photos from inside the hotel, along with a firsthand account of what went down inside the room. According to the website, Bieber and good friend Lil Twist were hanging out with a group of friends, as "Twist and his brother were rolling all the blunts and smoking everyone up." Sources close to Bieber were insistent that the slain photog was lying when he said Justin was smoking pot before the New Year's Day incident.
