  According to ESPN, WNBA star Brittany Griner was reclassified by the U.S. as "wrongfully detained" by the Russian government, which could mean a big shift in her case and getting her back home. Griner, who plays for a Russian team during the WNBA offseason, was   arrested   in February at a Moscow-area airport and accused of bringing vape cartridges containing hashish oil into the country.  Griner's agent, Lindsay Kagawa Colas spoke about the reclassification, stating, "Brittney has been detained for 75 days and our expectation is that the White House do whatever is necessary to bring her home."  A State Department official also released a statement to ESPN, which reads, "The Department of State has determined that the Russian Federation has wrongfully detained U.S. citizen Brittney Griner. With this determination, the Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs Roger Carstens will lead the interagency team for securing Brittney Griner's release....

  Somone recently took a swing at   6ix9ine   in a Miami club, and it was caught on camera. Last night (April 27),  6ix9ine  showed up at Pilos Tacos Tequilla Garden in Miami. As he was leaving around 2 a.m., someone hit the Brooklyn rapper-federal informant with a sucker punch. In video of the incident obtained by  TMZ , Tekashi and his security detail are seen filing out of the club. As the rapper passes one intrepid clubgoer, the guy takes a swing at 6ix9ine. The punch appears to connect with the back of 6ix9ine's head before Tekashi's security guard can react. After the punch is thrown, the scene becomes chaotic. 6ix9ine  was at the club for a performance, which featured him reportedly performing one song from behind the DJ booth. After the punch, Tekashi tried to save face by signing autographs outside. 6ix9ine  has been active, recently.   Lupe Fiasco weighed in on the viral slap between Will Smith and Chris Rock, and dragged his long-running feud with Kid Cudi into the mix. "I hope they can find some time to come to terms with what happened, reconcile and move on... But it's still F*ck Cudi 4 Life," he tweeted and deleted. A fan then asked, "what lupe said about cudi." He replied, "He a Bitch...been a bitch...and he a snake ass no good ass n*gga...I said all that lol." Another fan told Lupe they thought he'd moved on from their beef and that the feud was over. According to "The Juice," he would've reacted entirely different than Chris Rock had he been slapped like that on national television. Along with that, the man who bought the assault rifle for Rittenhouse reportedly reached a plea deal in his case. Now, Rittenhouse is back in the news, as he plans to sue media companies and individuals for “negative coverage” of him.  Rittenhouse revealed his plans to fight blueface during his appearance on the ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ show. The acquitted shooter says his team started training with intentions whooping ass.Rittenhouse concluded, “We are going to hold everybody who's lied about me accountable," Rittenhouse said.   Rick Ross   was one of many critics who took issue with Tory Lanez   dropping an entire album   dedicated to clearing his name in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident. On Friday morning (September 25), Rozay  condemned the  DAYSTAR  rapper  via Instagram for releasing the album a day after the grand jury’s decision in the  Breonna Taylor case,  calling it a “poor decision.” He later clowned Lanez’s diminutive stature in another IG video and claimed he bought him a mini Smart car to celebrate the project’s release. “Hey, I just bought a car for Tory Lanez,” he says in the clip. “I gotta gift for the album release.
