Lil wayne plans to retire after The carter V

Before releasing "The Carter V," it's been rumored that the album will be the last in Lil Wayne's long and successful rap career. Cash Money's Senior VP Mel Smith tweeted last Friday that the album would be dropping "soon," which means that if the rumors are true, Wayne could be making an exit from hip hop as early as this year.  When he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show, Wayne said "I want to retire after Tha Carter V, which I hope would be my last album."  Source:  theurbandaily.com

Wale dissed by his fans for liking anime

Wale was just trying to have a real moment on Twitter with his fans, asking them about the best Anime series, without knowing he would catch heat. Within a few minutes of asking the question, Wale was bombarded with hate from fans telling him to "keep rapping about your Versace belts and gold chains."  Instead of ignoring the haters, Wale began engaging with them, asking why they were hating on him so much and wondering why they were so bent out of shape.

Papoose plans to diss Kendrick Lamar again!

Hip Hop fans have been enamored with Kendrick Lamar over the past couple months, but one Brooklyn rapper is absolutely not impressed. Papoose says he watched the brief clip of Kendrick's BET Cypher, and "couldn't believe that that was what everybody was making a big deal out of." Apparently, a lot of Pap's fans actually believed the clip was aimed at him, and Papoose agrees. "I agree with the people, I looked at the majority and they were saying he was going at me," said Pap. "So I agree with the listeners, I agree with the fans. They say majority rules, so I agree with the majority." When asked whether or not he'll respond to the Cypher, Papoose basically guaranteed it. In his eyes, nobody is as nice on the mic as him. "Yeah yeah, he can't f*** with me," said Papoose, referring to Kendrick. "He'll never be able to shine my shoes, lyrically. So I'm just gonna be able to continue to prove that, to show and prove, l

Messy Marv Discusses His Violent Robbery Attack

VladTV managed to lock in an exclusive interview with the Bay Area's Messy Marv, and got him to open up on the  unfortunate violent robbery  that he was a victim of in Reno, NV. Earlier this month, a bloody image was posted on various social networking and media sites of Marv laid out on a hotel room floor bleeding badly from his mouth.  The white t-shirt he was wearing had large blood stains on it from injuries sustained during a robbery in which he was assaulted and held up at gunpoint. Marv spoke exclusively to VladTV over the phone to detail the events that took place in full, and to shed light on the backstory behind the grisly video.   While he stated during the interview that he had a concussion, he is certainly lucky to be alive after that brutal attack. Hear what Messy Marv had to say about the armed robbery above.
