Drake's DJ Says Apple Did Not Stop Tidal Stream

It's a case of "he said, she said" between Drake, Apple Music and Tidal as sources from the rapper claim Apple Music had nothing to do with Tidal  not streaming Drake's set  during Lil Wayne's Hurricane Katrina benefit. In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Future the Prince says it was Drake's choice not to stream his performance at Lil Weezyana Festival for Tidal. Previous reports claimed Apple Music threatened Tidal with a $20 million lawsuit if they aired the rapper's performance. Prince claims Tidal was aware of the decision, but used it as a marketing ploy to make Apple Music look like the villain between the streaming services. "The decision to not have Drake participate in the Tidal stream has nothing to do with Apple or Drake's deal," Prince told BuzzFeed News. "Point blank, 100%. I made a business decision. Apple doesn't have the power to stop us from being part of a live stream. The only people that have the power to

Stori Brooks
 - Forever

A mantra-like badass inspirational song from an artist preoccupied with the bigger picture. The beat is reminiscent of drum and bass, trap and hip-hop all in one!!!!!  FOLLOW STORI BROOKS  STORI BROOKS STORI BROOKS  Atlanta-based Vocalist/Producer/Instrumentalist Stori Brooks uses vivid wordplay and lush harmonies to create a full, layered music experience that has placed her into the "Alternative Hip-Hop" category. Claiming South Carolina as home base, she cites Stevie Wonder, M.I.A, her mother, Nina Simone and nature (as in the trees and ocean) as just a few of her musical influences. Although hard to place in a box, each of Stori's works of art are held together by one distinguishable chord-- It is always alive.

Wu-Tang Affiliate Confronts Action Bronson at Sean Price's Wake

Despite Action Bronson apologizing to Wu-Tang Clan spitter Ghostface Killah in an attempt to dead their beef which came to a fiery head last month after Ghost threatened to gut him like a "f***ing pig," it seems there's still some real tension between some of the Clan and the Queens emcee. Veteran Wu-Tang affiliate Popa Wu, a mentor to the Clan who can be heard giving teachings on Raekwon's "Northstar" and Ghostface Killah's "Black Jesus" among others, ran into Action Bronson at Brooklyn rapper Sean Price's wake on Tuesday. While details are scarce, it seems the encounter was not a friendly one. "This wat we do I'm 4 real Popawu u Fuk with my mine u get Chestties Wu 4ever," Popa captioned a photo on Instagram of the two men squaring off, with Action looking less than amused.

Ar-Ab Disses Meek Mill

For lack of a better of a phrase, s*** just got real. Last night (Aug. 6) Meek Mill took to the stage in Camden, New Jersey and called out fellow Philly emcee Ar-Ab for siding with Drake. "How dare a Philly n**** d*** ride another n**** from out of town!" he screamed to the crowd. Ar-Ab caught wind of the video and, as expected, he wasn't pleased to say the least. "I just hope n****s can stand behind they words #OBHGG #WeWitDaDumbS*** #DontGetParked," he tweeted this morning. Going on to call Philidelphia the "City of Brotherly HATE," the "Say My Name" lyricist claims he was just stating the truth, presumably in his latest interview with us where he says he expected more from Meek Mill when he dissed Drake on "Wanna Know." "How you gone talk gangsta s*** from a Pink stage??" Ar-Ab asked.

Drake Previews Third Meek Diss Track "3Peat" at OVO Fest

Drake came to OVO Fest in full-on attack mode in his beef with Meek Mill. The Toronto native was spotted at rehearsals for OVO Fest on Monday rocking a "Free Meek Mill" shirt, and during that night's show he performed his Meek diss track "Back To Back,"  and "Charged Up," but also previewed a new one he's appropriately titled "3Peat," as it's the third diss track aimed at Meek in a row following "Charged Up" and "Back To Back." "Dealing with these ni**as man it take a lot / been saying saying f*ck a chaser when we taking shots / Look man, I said you don't want that 3peat / Got you acting like a b*tch cause you ain't get the retweet," he spit. Check out the clip up top.

Nipsey Hussle apologizes for recent tweets

Nipsey Hussle took to Twitter on Monday to apologize for agreeing with a tweet sent by a fan the day before which called Black women a "disgrace." "I can't retweet that but LMAO TRU sh*t," the Crenshaw emcee responded after Twitter user @1FLYMEXICAN tweeted, "BLACC FEMALES R A DISGRACE TO BLACC CULTURE." Understandably, Nipsey's fans were quick to call him out on agreeing with the highly offensive tweet; however, according to Nipsey it was all just a "joke made in bad taste." Wrong is wrong and I'll take responsibility and apologize to all my black women that were offended by it," he tweeted the next day.

Lil Wayne Shows Allegiance To Drake By Ad-Libbing Back To Back

While partying at a nightclub in Miami Saturday evening, Lil Wayne made it clear who he sided with in the drawn out battle between Drake and Meek Mill. The rapper missed Drake's OVO Fest this weekend, but partied at Dream Nightclub and even performed a few tracks for the large crowd. With Drake's "Back To Back" slowly becoming a club favorite, Weezy was seen ad-libbing his artist's diss track and even hyped it up for his fans. Just last August, the timelines were different as Drake and Wayne paid tribute to a then-jailed Meek during the "Lil Wayne VS Drake" tour. The rappers ad-libbed his "Dreams and Nightmares Intro" while performing in Philly. This weekend, the same track was booed by New York fans following Meek's "Wanna Know" release. You can check out Wayne jamming to the track above. Source: Instagram | Photo Credit: Splash News
