The VMAs went off without any fights going down during the show last night, but there may have been one after. Diddy and Jay Z threw an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in NYC, which was predictably packed with celebrities. The rumor is that J. Cole and Diddy had some kind of fight, which eventually led to J. Cole being dragged out of the party by security. The only compelling evidence that the fight went down are a few tweets, one of which is from Diddy. "I don't usually address rumors but I got too much respect for my bro @JColeNC," tweeted Diddy. "We are friends. We just yell in public sometimes LOL #Fam." Another tweet told a bit different story. "Lol @ J. Cole in the elevator last night," tweeted a partygoer. "We were going up and he was getting thrown out for trying to fight Diddy. #LifesFunny. S/O 2 him tho." Check out the tweets above.

New Orleans rapper Currensy recently announced his new collaborative mixtape with fellow Jet Life member Young Roddy, and it's reportedly near ready for release. Spitta has always put out quality mixtapes, and plenty of them. He recently spoke on the tape with Young Roddy in an interview. "Me and Young Roddy got a tape called 'Bales.' It'll be out in a minute," said Currensy. "When you hear Bales, you might think I'm talking about getting bailed out of jail, but I'm talking bales as in a whole lot of stuff for shipping. We just got a whole lot of music for shipping." Spitta will also be releasing an updated version of his project "New Jet City." "New Jet City: The Director's Cut. According to AllHipHop.com, Drake wasn't pleased that Kendrick called him out on the track, especially after he gave him shine on his "Club Paradise" tour and let him open.  It's rumored that Drake is preparing to strike back on his upcoming album, as one source pointed out.  "For Drake, that time is sooner than later since he's presently in the studio recording and has reason to promote the "beef" to sell some records. Losing your weave is apparently is one of the dangers of twerking. In this video, a girl starts putting in work with some seriously hyped dance moves during a promo shoot until her weave literally flies off of her head. She attempts to do a spin move and the large hair piece attached to her bun just flies right off her head. The lady was a good sport about it and had a laugh, along with the onlookers present at the video shoot.

Here we go again. Last night in South Carolina,  DMX  was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and having an active warrant.   According to  TMZ , police spotted four bags of marijuana inside  DMX ‘s car during a traffic violation stop and he was  “very aggressive with his words and was making multiple idle threats.”

According to Daylyt, apparently fans were saying that Lupe 3-0'd him, but Day claims that Lupe's fans weren't even reading his bars. Daylyt has been heavily promoting his battle vs Swave Sevah at Summer Madness 3 ever since the news dropped that the two MCs would be facing off. The beef between Frank Ocean and Chris Brown may be reignited after Earl Sweatshirt's "Doris" album is released on August 20th. Rappers wearing skirts is nothing new -- Kanye West has been spotted in a black leather one on multiple occasions, as has A$AP Rocky. However, the skirts worn by those emcees at least came down to the knee. Trinidad James recently posed with Tiana and Stephanie from 'Bad Girls Club 11' while wearing what appears to be a jean skirt that only drops to mid-thigh. The picture has gone viral on Instagram and Twitter, with many people baffled by the Trinidadian rapper's bold choice of attire.

With everyone's attention turned towards Kendrick Lamar, some may have missed the beef brewing between Riff Raff and Hopsin. Riff tweeted at Hopsin on Wednesday night, "TAKE OUT THEM HOT TOPiC MiDDLE OF THE MALL CONTACTS BEFORE YOU SPEAK UPON ME @HOPSIN." The tweet was a response to a convo on Hopsin's wall, in which him and a fan discussed the likelihood of a collaboration with Riff Raff. Hopsin responded to the fan's question with, "Hell no. He is horrible."

Did Kat Stacks get some booty enhancement? Possibly. Stacks tweeted Thursday morning that she was preparing to go into surgery, and sent another tweet almost 24 hours later saying "Surgery went great!" Detroit recently filed for bankruptcy and has been in a state of decline for years now. The last thing Detroit needs is two of its best rappers beefing, but beef looks to be brewing over in D-Town. In an interview, Danny Brown called out Big Sean, accusing the rapper of being sheltered and never being from Detroit. Brown even claimed Sean doesn't come back to Detroit and "people say he's from LA now..." Big Sean snapped back at the end of a recent interview, in which he declined to name names, but had a message for those questioning his Detroit identity. Tip was in town along with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz for a stop on the "America's Most Wanted" tour, and Bossip reports that while hanging out at a club called Park, T.I. pulled a knife on a Stan. “We were at Park and apparently T.I. pulled a knife on some dudes that got too close in the club,” a source told BOSSIP. “I don’t know if he has security, but I saw a bunch of bouncers running downstairs and knew it was time to go. People told me he pulled out a knife in the open.” While this is all just hearsay at this point, a few tweets do back up the story.
