founder and A$AP Worldwide co-owner A$AP Yams has died, Complex Music reports . His cause of death is unknown. He was 26. In a 2013 New York Times profile , Yams, born Steven Rodriguez, said "Rocky’s like Luke Skywalker, and I’m Yoda." Rocky called him "the mastermind behind the scenes," the "director", and a "hip-hop encyclopedia". He was instrumental in helping find the A$AP sound and ran the Mob's early online presence.
Much like the original "Pretty Flacko," which was released on January 1, 2012, Rocky goes back to his familiar blend of Dirty South-influenced but NYC-based style that has made him one of the most popular MCs in hip-hop today.
