Meek Mill finally responds to Drake with his own diss track, "Wanna Know"

Over a week after Meek Mill first  called out Drake for allegedly having a ghostwriter , the Philly rapper has responded with his own diss record, "Wanna Know". The track follows two records from Drake — " Charged Up " and " Back to Back Freestyle " — that put Meek's back against the wall.  Everyone expected a response from Meek Mill earlier this week on Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex's show that never transpired. Meek Mill and his team  began dropping hints this afternoon that the track would finally be released tonight, and on Flex's show no less. Now that Meek has responded,  the biggest beef in hip hop is in full swing.

Drake Disses Meek Mill

Following "Charged Up," Drake just fired back at Meek Mill yet again with his latest track "Back to Back." This comes after Meek lashed out at Drake on Twitter and failed to show up at Hot 97 and respond to Drizzy after the first diss. Some of the standout lines on "Back to Back": "Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?" "Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers / You gettin bodied by a singin' ni**a / I'm not the type of n**** that'll type to n****s / And shout to all my boss b*****s wifin' n****s Meek got on Twitter after "Charged Up" was released and called Drake's diss "baby lotion soft." Do you think Meek will respond via tweet this time around or will he finally step up to the mic? Sound off below.

Funk Flex Resignation Petition Started Over Meek Mill Diss Upset

Many fans were upset with Funkmaster Flex after he didn't release a Meek Mill diss track aimed at Drake, as promised on his Monday (July 27) night show. Twitter user @az33mkhan felt so strongly about the situation that he started a Change.org petition to get Flex to resign from Hot 97. The petition's creator stated that "No one has given Hot 97 two hours of listening time since Biggie was alive, and it's a crime to have taken that from us. The people have spoken and it is time for Funk Flex to step down." The petition has gained some steam on the site, with the original 5,000 signatures being reached, and the number was upped to 7,500. Flex himself addressed the situation by sharing a screenshot of InFlexWeTrust's petition story on his Instagram page with the caption, "Just paying attention!!!!!" Do you think the petition will get any attention from Hot 97?

Meek Mill Throws More Shots at Drake During NY Performance

Meek Mill took some shots at Drake during his performance tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. "He gave me a verse for my album, but he gave me a verse that he didn't right, that another n**ga wrote" "When it come to this rap shit, Biggie and Tupac had to die to become the motherfuckin' greatest" The philly rapper is currently supporting Nicki Minaj on her Pink Print Tour. The tour rolls into Drake's hometown of Toronto on Tuesday July 28th.

Meek Mill No Longer Welcome in Toronto?

A Toronto City Councillor shuns Meek Mill from entering Toronto, following his diss towards Drake. Last night we had a bit unexpected excitement,  when Meek Mill went off on our twitter timelines,  dissing Drake in the process. As for what triggered the rant in the first place, it seems like Meek feels as though he's not getting the respect he deserves. "Everytime a nigga do numbers they try to make up a reason why..." he wrote, "I was suppose 2 do 200k first week last time..... And when I did 165k they was acting like I failed!" Shortly after the Drake slander came, with Meek tweeting that Drizzy "ain't even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album..... I don't trick my fans!" The whole of Toronto will likely come to Drake's defense, and that's starting already with a Toronto City Councillor by the name of Norm Kelly. He got in on the fun by tweeting, "you're no longer welcome in Toronto,

Shaq Starts IG War w/ Scottie Pippen: I Was Puffy You Was Mase

Retired NBA baller Shaquille O'Neal surely ruffled some feathers yesterday after pitting iconic members of the Lakers (himself included) and legendary Bulls' players against each other and asking fans who they think would win between the two teams. Shaq claimed that the Lakers would prevail in the game and "beat em by fifty" while his comment section reached over 22,000 comments, full of people either siding or strongly disagreeing with him. Scottie Pippen, who was arguably a part of the greatest duo in the NBA with the G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan, noticed the Instagram post and decided to reply to the sport analyst on his IG, writing "Sorry @shaq but I don't get caught up in hypotheticals. All I know is we won 6 titles, twice the amount you claimed while in LA..." The comment riled Shaq up as he went on to diss him, superimposing Jordan's face over Pippen's using the photo Scottie posted of him and MJ a few moments prior. He then went

50 Cent Claims He's Only Worth $4.4 Million & Rents His Cars

This morning (July 21), 50 Cent attested to the fact that he's not worth $155 million as Forbes claimed prior to him filing for bankruptcy , and that most of his possessions are either borrow or rented. "It's like music videos, they say action and you see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership," he stated in his testimony while in Manhattan Supreme Court. According to Page Six, 50 flashed "big smiles" at the jurors while downplaying his lifestyle, admitting that he's only worth "no more than $4.4 million" as they decide how much he will pay the woman whose sex tape he released. 50 Cent was ordered to return to court to discuss his financial status, and during that time he professed that all of his chains, watches and rings were "borrowed from the jeweler," and all of his cars were rented, not owned. "Now that I've filed for bankruptcy...I'm not as cool as I was last week," he to

Photos Surface of Fugitive El Chapo Drinking & Flying in Plane

Mexico is in a state of emergency after kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman escaped from prison again, and photos have surfaced of him allegedly drinking a beer and flying in a plane. The photos leaked on a Twitter page allegedly belonging to the crime boss' son, but the photos have yet to be verified. Drug Enforcement Agent Mike Vigil doubts that Guzman's son would leak the photos, telling the San Antonio Express-News, "I don't think (his son) would leak those photos because that could be used to try and apprehend Chapo, and that would be circumventing his planned escape." The feared kingpin escaped from Altiplanoa, maximum security prison in Mexico, via a mile-long tunnel that many suspect was dug with help from the outside. El Chapo also escaped from prison in 2001 via a laundry cart, and he was found thirteen years later on a Mexican beach resort.

50 Cent Pokes Fun at "Hard Times" Following Bankruptcy Statement

50 Cent recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy , and the rapper's lawyer sent out a statement on his behalf and revealed that the Queens rapper is reorganizing his finances. William A. Brewer III, partner at Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors, said, "The filing allows Mr. Jackson to reorganize his financial affairs, as he addresses various professional liabilities and takes steps to position the future of his various business interests." He added, "This filing for personal bankruptcy protection permits Mr. Jackson to continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer, while he pursues an orderly reorganization of his financial affairs." After the statement was released, Fif seemed to be poking fun of himself after posing next to a blue Smart car for an Instagram picture captioned, "Times are hard out here LMAO."

DjBooth Speaks On Chief Keef

[By Yoh , aka Love Yohsa, aka  @Yoh31 ] Dead or in jail, the only outcomes parents, teachers and television told us would come from living dangerously. Drug dealers and street hustlers, thugs and gangsters, all underworld dwellers glorified by Hollywood in a world where happy endings don’t exist. Tony Montana had to be killed, would hate for kids to believe success can be built with bricks of cocaine. Cain had to die, would hate for kids to believe you can do wrong and get a second chance at life. Mitch had to be murdered, an example to the kids that the game loves no man. Rap is one of the only avenues where stories of success blossom from poverty-stricken environments and don’t wither within months, weeks, days. Some do, most do. Right when they’re at the tunnel’s end, that light shining on them also makes for an illuminated target. Their stories are left behind, the distance they covered rewound. But the few that survive, documenting their scars for the world to view, they ins

Lil Herb: I'm Cool w/ White Crowd Saying the N-Word at My Shows

VladTV ran down a host of current events during a recent sit down with Chicago emcee Lil Herb, including Bree Newsome, who personally removed the Confederate flag from South Carolina's state house flagpole. The "I'm Rollin" rapper said that Newsome's actions were courageous, but Herb believes there are more serious issues like senseless killings of children and grandmothers in Chicago that aren't being widely reported. The next topic that was approached was former Spokane NAACP president Rachel Dolezal, whom Herb wasn't as familiar with. After being told that Dolezal pretended to be Black and spoke about prejudices she received, Lil Herb was blown away by the story. The conversation ended with the Chicago spitter sharing his thoughts on Tom Hanks' son Chet Haze defending his use of the n-word as a White person. After hearing the actor's son say, "it's an unspoken thing between friends who understand each other," Herb said that he

Alley Boy Addresses L.A. Altercation: That Wasn't Street S***

Alley Boy recently chopped it up with Atlanta's Hot 107.9, and he spoke about an L.A. altercation from earlier this year. The "Stack It Up" emcee first addressed the haters by telling the host that "people are going to judge you" regardless, and he added that he would consider the situation "semi-serious." Speaking more on the taped altercation, Alley Boy said that he was trying to get away from the location before police arrived, and he added that civilians had jumped in on the fight, which worried him. The Atlanta rapper also spoke about his mentorship with Master P, which started while Alley Boy was working on a movie with the No Limit CEO. Check out more of what he had to say in the above clip.

Capone, Noreaga & Tragedy Khadafi Speak On Rappers Being Leaders

Minister Louis Farrakhan appeared on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club in early June and proclaimed that rappers are the new leaders and should use their platform to help the Black community. "Our people want better and they'll do better if they are shown better," he stated. Capone-N-Noreaga & Tragedy Khadafi couldn't agree more, and in this VladTV exclusive, the three emcees speak on how they and other rappers should go about doing so. "We gotta start being responsible to a certain extent," Nore states, adding that rappers should include more conscious lyrics in their tracks. Tragedy Khadafi also feels that they shouldn't be "mute, silent and weak" and speak on what's going on the world. "You can use your voice outside of just getting money." Capone agrees with them both. "That should be up to a rapper to put that in his next verse [or] interview," he adds after speaking on the tragic Charleston church shootings

How High 2 In The Works?

VladTV correspondent Leyla Stacked recently spoke to legendary emcee Redman about his upcoming projects in both music and film. While "Muddy Waters 2" is currently "in the brew," the Newark native also alluded to releasing a new album entitled "The Preload" in just two months. Having recently released the video for his single "Somebody Got Robbed" featuring Mr. Yellow, Redman spoke on bringing back the needed "90's essence" to hip-hop with his latest visual. "It ain't got a gang of chicks in it, showing a** and titties" and "money flowing everywhere," he proclaims. "It's really telling a story about how people get robbed, and you should be careful out there." Redman also talked about him and Method Man's tiff with the FOX network over their short-lived series "Method & Red." "They didn't let us have more creativity," he recalls. "I didn't wanna be in

Tyga Reacts to Criticism Over "The Gold Album" Sales

Tyga recently released his latest project, "The Gold Album," on Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube for free due to his conflicts with YMCMB, so the rapper was shocked that he was getting criticism over album sales. The L.A.-born emcee took to Twitter to respond to Complex writing a story about how Nielsen SoundScan showed the album selling a mere 2,200 copies. Tyga said that he didn't even intend to make money off of the project and added, "Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify, soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn't plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It's a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams."

Blow Flyy - To The Starz

New Single from Canadian Music artist Blow Flyy titled " To The Sky ". This is a positive uplifting song from Blow Flyy. Music Production from James Mcquade. With Slow Paced Understandable lyrics Blow is letting us know that he is going for his dreams no matter what. You can find this artist on Facebook  I give the song 3/5 stars. the concept is great and so is the message but the artist is bragging more about himself than reaching out to listeners.  Blow Flyy is an artist that likes to work towards perfection and he still needs perfecting, but all great artist become better and more legendary with time. with a lethargic sound & unique style in performance he delivers a new sound and flow to hip-hop through his to the point lyrics and nostalgic rhythms.
