Sunday morning  cop-related shooting death of Jamar Clark has sparked a major protest and investigation in a Minnesota according to  CBSLocal . Witnesses are saying that Jamar was shot dead by a trigger-happy officer while he was handcuffed, eerily similar to the way Oscar Grant was killed in Oakland…  People in north Minneapolis are demanding answers after a man was shot by police overnight. Police say around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, they had a report of a man assaulting a woman in the 1600 block of Plymouth Avenue. On the way, another call came in that the suspect was interfering with paramedics. When officers arrived, police say there was a struggle, and an officer fired. Family members identify the man wounded as 24-year-old Jamar Clark. Police “say” a lot of things, however…  Several witnesses on hand said that Clark’s wrists were actually handcuffed behind his back when the shot was fired. “That man was shot in cold blood while he had his hands behind his back. That’s not right,” Kiesh

Commerce City, CO, police officer Kevin Lord was arrested and charged with attempting to influence a public official. According to the  Denver Post , Lord claimed he was shot in the chest during a routine traffic stop, and a $20,000 reward was being offered for information on the shooter. However, members of the Critical Incident Team investigated the incident, which led to Lord's arrest. Commerce City Police Chief Troy Smith commented on the situation, "Yesterday I stood here and told you that no stone would be left unturned in this investigation, and that's exactly what has occurred. We have pursued the truth and the truth has led us to this place." When 17th Judicial District Attorney Dave Young was asked about there being an actual shooting the night Lord claims he was shot, he replied by saying he could not comment due to the case being under investigation.

Floyd Mayweather disses 50 Cent

Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey have  publicly criticized  one another several times this year, but Floyd isn't taking Ronda's  recent loss  against Holly Holm as an opportunity to bash her. After 50 Cent claimed Floyd told him to post a meme that photoshopped a knocked out Ronda into a scene of Rocky Balboa tending to a dying Apollo Creed, the boxer spoke out. In a statement sent to FightHype.com, Mayweather denied speaking to anyone about Ronda's recent fight.  "That's not true at all. I haven't really spoke to anyone about the Ronda Rousey situation, just to set the record straight. I don't have anything against MMA fighters. It's just like boxing; you win some, you lose some. A true champion can take a loss and bounce back." When asked about the online criticism Ronda has received since the fight, Mayweather made it clear that he doesn't think it's cool.  "I don't think it's cool how everyone is trolling her on social m

Spike Lee calls his critics " Rednecks "

Spike Lee released the trailer for his upcoming movie "Chiraq," which  gained some critcism from Chicago rappers, including Lil Durk, Chief Keef, and Rhymefest,  who said  the famed director owed his city an apology. Now, Spike Lee is speaking out about his detractors during an interview with ABC Chicago.  When asked about the critcism of his new film, Spike responded by saying, "That sounds like those redneck crackers in the South. When Civil Rights people come down to Mississippi or Alabama, 'These rabble rousers come down here. We know how to treat our Negros good. We don't need nobody else come up there tell us how to work with our Negros.' Same type of mentality." Spike previously spoke out against the criticism and made it clear that he wasn't trying to make light of the violence in Chicago with his new film. "In no way, shape or form are we not respectful of the situation that is happening in Chiraq. In no way, shape or form are we making

Soulja Boy Vs Vivica Fox Vs 50 Cent

Vivica A. Fox didn’t need a crystal ball to predict that her insinuations about 50 Cent and Soulja Boy wouldn’t sit well with them. The actress, who will appear on Season 2 of Empire, stirred up trouble during her appearance on Sunday’s Watch What Happens Live. When Andy Cohen asked her thoughts about her ex-boyfriend 50 Cent blaming the Fox show’s seasons ratings dip on “gay stuff,” she questioned the rapper’s sexuality. Now, both 50 and Soulja are striking back. “First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I’m saying,” Vivica responded to Cohen’s question. 50 regrammed Soulja’s message with his own commentary: “Oh No!!!, Now she thinks I’m gay because I let her lick my a–. LMAO. Wait, I didn’t want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 shades of grey,” he wrote with a bunch of emojis. (Yes, 50 Cent uses emojis.)  That was followed by a series of other posts, including several unflattering photos of Fox and references to her appearance and age

Earl Sweatshirt: Drake Can Be a Vulture on Young Rappers

Drake's recent Instagram post of him dancing to "SKRT" by Florida rapper Kodak Black opened up a conversation led by Earl Sweatshirt about the Toronto rapper shouting out new artists. The West Coast emcee started out by sarcastically tweeting, "drake found kodak black? smh welp," which he quickly had to defend against a follower who accused Earl of being a "hipster." He explained,  "naw bro. no hipster nothing. drake can be a bit of a vulture on young rap n***** and i don't want lil kodak to be a victim of it." The "Chum" rapper later added that he feels like Drake's shout outs are "self serving," which led to him pointing out that "the line between paying homage and wave riding is a blurry one."

Here's your first look at Spike Lee's controversial film about Chicago gang violence.
