Glenn Beck is known for his controversial stances, but in a recent segment focused on Paula Deen, Beck seemed to have crossed the line. Beck began by defending Deen and her actions, but really dug himself in a hole by comparing Deen to the great Martin Luther King, Jr. He essentially equated Deen's right to say the n-word to King's right to promoting civil rights. Not a good look. 

  In a recent trend on Twitter, people have been unearthing old tweets from various artists and reposting them for everyone to view again. In one of them, Iggy Azalea scoffs at Nicki Minaj after one of her performances on BET. "LMAO at Nikki saying she did the BET Awards live. Errrr. If you say so girl," reads Iggy's tweet. When Nicki caught wind of this tweet, which was original posted in June 2010, she responded as Nicki would typically respond. Aggressively. "Laughing at sh*t u can't even do...study dat formula...cornball....LMFAO," reads Nicki's response. Iggy recently attempted to smooth things over with a extensive message on Twitter. "Listen. Kanye West released his new album, "Yeezus," to mixed reviews, but the American Parkinson Disease Association is upset about a lyric in one of his songs. In "On Sight", Kanye raps, "A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson's." Kathryn Whitford, a rep for the organization, commented on the lyric, saying, "We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance." Kanye has yet to respond to the controversy.

It seems like it's pretty hard to get under Tyler, the Creator's skin and actually make him mad enough to really fire off about something.  The lead act from the Odd Future crew is often very witty about things and tends to brush off negativity whenever it comes his way, and that's exactly what he did when he got wind of J-Kwon's diss track "Pushing the Odds." Tyler actually tweeted about the situation saying that he is "stoked" that J-Kwon made a diss track about him and his crew, and actually tweeted the YouTube link to the song on his Twitter account. Who knows if Tyler, the Creator will come back with a diss track of his own, but if he does it should be an interesting one.

 Former CTE member Freddie Gibbs spoke on his crumbled relationship with Young Jeezy with  XXL  after completing his set at the Govenors Ball in Randalls Island.  Gibbs explained how he felt as though Jeezy never helped him make significant progress with his career like he should have during his time with CTE, and that his new album "ESGN, Cocaine Pinata" will set him apart from everything Jeezy stood for while he was teamed up with him.  Gibbs began by blasting Jeezy for the lack of support he showed him while he was signed to CTE, and revealed whether or not Jeezy was supportive of Gibbs branching off on his own. Davieanna Marlena Blake, 21, the daughter of DJ Quik, was arrested alongside Darnell Moses Alvarez, 24, in Phoenix for allegedly killing their 2-year-old son. Police reports show that the parents were standing outside of their apartment with their son, who was pronounced dead at the scene.  A witness told investigators that they heard Alvarez disciplining and spanking the child for wetting the bed, which they called "excessive." Alvarez had allegedly whipped the child with a belt and Blake was too scared to intervene, because she thought it would upset him more.  Blake claimed she went to work, and when she returned the child was lethargic and not breathing. The couple continued to argue over taking him to the hospital, as Alvarez admitted to spanking the boy with a woven belt after he soiled himself earlier in the day.  An autopsy of the child showed he had a lacerated liver, severe internal bleeding and multiple bruising throughout his body, which is inconsistent of

Twitter tracking site  GA Followers  is reporting that 2 Chainz has been mugged and shot at multiple times outside a marijuana dispensary in San Francisco known as The Green Door. The rapper is currently in Oakland for KMEL Summer Jam. Apparently, he stopped by the facility some time before his gig to buy weed cookies, and was accosted upon leaving the dispensary. An Instagram post from someone calling himself Lil Blood allegedly sums up what went down. "2 Chainz got his cornball as* stripped in the city," says the post, which is captioned, "Next time f*ck with som real n*ggas cuzin." Summer Jam attendees have tweeted that 2 Chainz took to the stage, so he obviously wasn't injured in the alleged incident. Source:  musicfeeds.com.au  

Justin Bieber hasn't confirmed just yet when exactly the space voyage will be taking place, but it appears as though the pop star will be joining a slew of other A-List celebrities on various space tours with Virgin Galactic. Richard Branson, the mastermind mogul behind Virgin Galactic, tweeted his excitement about Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun participating in the space voyages. Bieber responded by tweeting his eagerness to shoot a music video in outer space, to which Branson replied with just as much excitement as Justin. Other celebrities that have signed up for the space trips include Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tom Hanks, and Ashton Kutcher. The tickets reportedly range between $200,000-$250,000.

Clayton Armstrong Hill, a former member of the Nation of Islam, somehow managed to successfully escape out of the medium security prison where he was detained. Hill was incarcerated for pleading guilty to over 100 fraudulent federal income tax returns in the mid-2000's, and then made a shocking confession in July 2011.  Hill came forward to confess to his role as an accessory after the fact in the murder of Notorious B.I.G.  He made the confession in his memoir "Diary of an Ex-Terrorist," and also elaborated on the confession during an interview with HipHopDX. According to his confession to DX, Hill allegedly took the gun away from the shooter, and the Nation of Islam was heavily involved in covering up Biggie's murder. "[Dawoud Muhammad] stated to me that he was on the run for the murder [of The Notorious B.I.G.].  He disclosed that he was the shooter of The Notorious B.I.G. because he (Dawoud) was a former Blood gang member and was paid to do so." According to recent Hip Hop rumors, Kanye West is considering re-recording his entire "Yeezus" album due to less than energetic reactions he's gotten from the few songs he's released. Or, Kanye is getting back in the studio to try and add more marketable songs to the potentially edgy album. Despite the motives behind his possible return to the studio, the release date for "Yeezus" is still supposed to be June 8.
