After being  arrested on gun and drug charges , along with child endangerment, following a SWAT raid on his house, Kodak Black updated fans on his status during a phone call. The audio was recently released online, and fans can hear Kodak saying that he doesn't know when he's getting out. The "Tunnel Vision" rapper also revealed that his lawyer is advising him to move out of his neighborhood.

Hitmaka, aka Yung Berg, is wanted in Miami for missing a court date on January 11. According to TMZ, Berg was supposed to appear in court following a weed bust in October 2017. Berg was arrested after police responded to a call about an altercation in his hotel room, where they found two blunts on him. After running his name, the famed entertainer was  booked on a 9-year-old warrant . He was later released from jail and expected to appear in court for an arraignment, which he missed. 

Wanda Sykes spoke out in support of  Mo'Nique's Netflix boycott . Netflix came under some fire when Mo'Nique went public about an offer to do a comedy special on their platform. Though most would appreciate an offer to work with a company of Netflix's caliber, the comedian was happy to let the opportunity go when she claimed they decided to low-ball her pay. She boldly called out the streaming company for both gender and color bias. Using past offers they gave to Amy Schumer and Dave Chappelle as examples, Mo'Nique proposed her point to boycott Netflix for the unfair treatment. Some were not as supportive of and even questioned the 'Queens of Comedy' vet's venture to equality. However, one person who came to her aid was fellow comedian Wanda Sykes. Sykes tweeted her pride for Mo'Nique of coming forward to tell her truth. She also admitted that Netflix once shot an "offensive" offer of half of the $500,000 they offered Mo. Lucki

The Milwaukee Bucks have shaken up basketball headlines with the announcement that the team has parted ways with head coach Jason Kidd. They will have assistant Joe Prunty out to run the team on an interim basis starting Monday night, January 22, against the Phoenix Suns. "We appreciate everything that Jason has done for the Bucks organization, but we have decided to make a coaching change," Bucks general manager Jon Horst said in a statement that he issued to the press after the firing. "We believe that a fresh approach and a change in leadership are needed to continue elevating our talented team towards the next level, bringing us closer to our goal of competing for championships." The news comes following a skid that saw the team lose four of its past five games and slip to eighth place with a 23-22 record in the Eastern Conference. Joey Badass and XXXTentacion seem like the last two people fans would expect to collaborate with each other, but according to Joey, a collaborative project is on the way. Via his Instagram Story, XXXTentacion posted “xxxtentacion x joey badass collaboration tape.” From there, the Brooklyn rapper took a screenshot of the post, posted it on his own story, and said “LETSGOOOOO @xxxtentacion.” Details on the collaboration between the two beyond what they mentioned are scarce, but the news comes not too long after X said he had plans on releasing three albums in 2018.
