Lupe Fiasco & Daylyt Fire Off Battle Bars on Twitter

"Twattling," as Lupe Fiasco called it, is what went down yesterday, August 17th, between Lupe and Daylyt, as they engaged in a rap battle on Twitter. It all started when Daylyt sent a tweet to Lupe claiming that Mickey Factz said that Lupe wanted a "lil friendly text battle war," to which Lupe obliged, with the two of them going back and forth spitting bars over the Internet. According to Daylyt, apparently fans were saying that Lupe 3-0'd him, but Day claims that Lupe's fans weren't even reading his bars. Daylyt has been heavily promoting his battle vs Swave Sevah at Summer Madness 3 ever since the news dropped that the two MCs would be facing off. Check out the bars spit back and forth between Lupe and Daylyt during their "Twattle" above and let us know who you think was victorious. Lupe Fiasco has been actively involved in battle talks recently, as he also engaged Rosenberg Raw on Twitter, served him some bars, and schooled him in the art of battle rap. Would you like to see Lupe Fiasco step into the ring?

Tyga Reacts to Criticism Over "The Gold Album" Sales

Tyga recently released his latest project, "The Gold Album," on Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube for free due to his conflicts with YMCMB, so the rapper was shocked that he was getting criticism over album sales. The L.A.-born emcee took to Twitter to respond to Complex writing a story about how Nielsen SoundScan showed the album selling a mere 2,200 copies. Tyga said that he didn't even intend to make money off of the project and added, "Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify, soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn't plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It's a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams."
