To write that Bas is well-traveled would be an understatement. Born in Paris to Sudanese parents, the Dreamville emcee lived in France and Qater before he called Queens home at age eight. Now, under the careful watch of mentor and label head J. Cole, Bas has used his time spent traversing the globe as a source of inspiration and musical versatility, all of which takes shape on the emcee's newly-released project Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. II.
Included on the 16-track set are previously-featured song selections "Stronger," "Black & Blue" and "Mook II." In addition to Cole, Bas is joined on QWRM2 by guests Angela McCluskey, Hemdi, Jota and KQuick, while beats are provided by BBP, Calvin Harris, Ced, Christian Rich, The Beautiful People and more.
