Lupe Fiasco- Animal Pharm

Lupe Fiasco is back with his first new music since Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, Part 1. His latest track "Animal Pharm," may be the first glimpse of his upcoming album Tetsuo & Youth. The track masterfully uses a sample of "Ingenue" by Thom Yorke outfit Atoms For Peace. While Lupe had me worried on many tracks off F&L2, Fiasco's flow is definitely back on this one. Lupe weaves countless animal metaphors throughout the verses before backing out to let Tommy (Thommy?) Boy sing the hook. Listen here.

Tyga Reacts to Criticism Over "The Gold Album" Sales

Tyga recently released his latest project, "The Gold Album," on Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube for free due to his conflicts with YMCMB, so the rapper was shocked that he was getting criticism over album sales. The L.A.-born emcee took to Twitter to respond to Complex writing a story about how Nielsen SoundScan showed the album selling a mere 2,200 copies. Tyga said that he didn't even intend to make money off of the project and added, "Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify, soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn't plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It's a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams."
