After executing producing Nas’ King’s Disease and Big Sean’s Detroit 2, the Grammy Award-winning producer confirmed his production work on Benny’s next album in an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden.

Hit-Boy’s album with the Griselda Records MC is expected to arrive in October, but an official release date hasn’t been announced. The multi-platinum selling producer said he’s still putting the final touches on the project, which is titled Burden Of Proof.

“We getting there,” he noted. “I’m finishing the last of the mixes. We was able to bring [Young] Guru in … It’s just different levels, man. We trying to make sure it’s all the way there.”

Benny is also planning to drop The Plugs I Met 2, which will be produced entirely by Harry Fraud. And looking further ahead, he’s plotting a double album titled Tana Talk 4 and 5 for 2021.

In July, Benny showcased his Black Soprano Family roster on a Gangsta Grillz mixtape called The Respected Sopranos. The DJ Drama-hosted project featured his artists Rick Hyde, Heem, Jonesy and Loveboat Luciano.

If it seems like  Lil Wayne 's upcoming album,  Tha Carter V , has gotten caught in a holding pattern, that's because the rapper says it is. In a  series of tweets , Weezy criticized Cash Money – the label that has released all of his albums and is home to the Young Money imprint he founded – likening his contract to a prison sentence. "To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz [label co-founder] Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it," he wrote. "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy," he continued. "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting for me and this album. But thank you." A Cash Money representative did ...

Hutch didn't respect that one bit and feels as though it was a "cowardly" move. "I don't really get that. I don't get Twitter bashing, Twitter banging. We don't do that. I'm an ex-con. I thought he was an ex-con. That's how that man eat. That's how Kendrick Lamar eat. So, for you to publicly say something is trash, that's just a hater move. got no issue with Shyne, but I have issue with cats Twitter bangin'. Diddy’s manager goes into the club to get Diddy’s table situation correct, while Diddy remains in their vehicle. While he’s sitting in the car, Drake’s vehicle pulls up. Upon seeing this, Diddy exits his vehicle and approaches Drake’s vehicle. He taps on the window to talk to him. You ain’t scared to talk for a sec, right?”  At this point, Drake opens the door and steps out, saying, “I’m not scared to talk to nobody!”  Within a 10 to 15 second time period, very few words were exchanged between the two. Then, Diddy smacked Drake for the first time. Then he smacked him a second time, then he punched him. Drake’s...
