KANYE WEST SAMPLES LAURYN HILL IN NEW SNIPPET 'BELIEVE WHAT I SAY'

Kanye West is fighting numerous battles but on Saturday (September 26), he took to Twitter to show off some of the new music he’s been working on.

While taking to sea, Ye teased a track called “Believe What I Say,” lifting Lauryn Hill’s 1998 classic single “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in the process.

“You need something unexpected, some form of weapon. You asking to feel protected, and still feel protected. This one time for the record, this one time for the record. Don’t agree with message, don’t agree with the methods,” the Chicago rapper/producer says on the snippet.

There is no word on where the full version of “Believe What I Say” will land.

Tyga Reacts to Criticism Over "The Gold Album" Sales

Tyga recently released his latest project, "The Gold Album," on Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube for free due to his conflicts with YMCMB, so the rapper was shocked that he was getting criticism over album sales. The L.A.-born emcee took to Twitter to respond to Complex writing a story about how Nielsen SoundScan showed the album selling a mere 2,200 copies. Tyga said that he didn't even intend to make money off of the project and added, "Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify,soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn't plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It's a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams."
