New Drug 20 Times More Potent than Fentanyl Found in Florida

According to reports, a new drug called Isotonitazene, or “Iso,” has now been found in Florida. As a result, elected officials are warning people in Florida about the drug.

ISO is 20 to 100 times stronger than Fentanyl, which is already dangerously strong. The opioid is reportedly being mixed with other drugs and popping up in the drug market, allegedly showing up in pill or powder form.

Attorney General Ashley Moody spoke on the matter, saying, “For years, we have been warning about the dangers of fentanyl and how just one pill laced with this synthetic opioid can kill. Now, a new, deadlier drug is being found in Florida.” Moody warned that Iso “is so strong that it can kill just by coming in contact with someone’s skin or being accidentally inhaled.”

Along with that, she noted Iso has already been linked to overdose deaths in Florida. The drug was recently found in Pasco County and was linked to two deaths in the county in 2021. Fox13 went on to note that Narcan nasal spray may be less effective when suffering an Iso overdose due to how potent the opioid is.

Tyga Reacts to Criticism Over "The Gold Album" Sales

Tyga recently released his latest project, "The Gold Album," on Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube for free due to his conflicts with YMCMB, so the rapper was shocked that he was getting criticism over album sales. The L.A.-born emcee took to Twitter to respond to Complex writing a story about how Nielsen SoundScan showed the album selling a mere 2,200 copies. Tyga said that he didn't even intend to make money off of the project and added, "Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify, soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn't plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It's a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams."
