21-year-old Victorville Rapper arrested after a pursuit in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 21-year-old Victorville man was arrested after a vehicle pursuit in Apple Valley, officials said.

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, at approximately 4:50 am, deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Land Rover for failing to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection of Quinnault Road and Powhattan Road, officials said.

The driver, later identified as Bradley Luckey, aka No Luck failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued.

According to a news release, Luckey showed wanton disregard for public safety when he reached speeds of 70 MPH, drove into opposing lanes, and failed to stop at a red light.

U.S. Reclassifies Brittany Griner as "Wrongfully Detained" in Russia

According to ESPN, WNBA star Brittany Griner was reclassified by the U.S. as "wrongfully detained" by the Russian government, which could mean a big shift in her case and getting her back home. Griner, who plays for a Russian team during the WNBA offseason, was arrested in February at a Moscow-area airport and accused of bringing vape cartridges containing hashish oil into the country. Griner's agent, Lindsay Kagawa Colas spoke about the reclassification, stating, "Brittney has been detained for 75 days and our expectation is that the White House do whatever is necessary to bring her home." A State Department official also released a statement to ESPN, which reads, "The Department of State has determined that the Russian Federation has wrongfully detained U.S. citizen Brittney Griner.
