Will.i.am turned heads in L.A. when he took his custom supercar out for a spin on Wednesday night. The $900,000 car took over three years to build between two auto body shops, including West Coast Customs of "Pimp My Ride," who finished off the job. According to Jalopnik, Will's dream car was originally constructed out of a 1958 VW Beetle, and over the course of two years Austin Weiss at The Garage in Stuart, FL shaped it into something unrecognizable. Weiss claims Will kept changing his mind throughout the process, thus delaying the build, and when he wanted to feature the car onstage at the 2011 Super Bowl with six weeks notice. Weiss told Will that no amount of money could get the job done quicker, so Will took his ride to WCC, where it was claimed the car would be completed in time.
